I had such a blast with @fishonjazz last night. He’s as great in person as he is on here. We literally talked the entire time and cheered the entire time. What a great time. Best game to go to as well outside of all of the fouls.

Ace so far is 0/1, 1 TO and going under on a screen that led to an opposing 3. He’s got some work to do haha

Ace Bailey hit us with the Harpring midrange game 1 and the Ingles no dip corner 3 in game 2

that no dip corner three was special. not many guys can do that period, let alone at age 18.

Two things that i think need mentioning as i read through the thread.

First, we know Collier is unselfish, that he can pass and set guys up. We know it and the jazz know it. It would stand to reason that he was told to use summer league to be aggressive scoring the ball. he had 5 assists and 2 of those were to Ace - on both he literally sought Ace out and made it happen.

Second, Collier barely played in the 4th quarter and Ace basically didn't touch the ball in the 4th quarter.

Sounds like some cope. He clearly got benched in crunch time in favor of WCJ

he did get benched and deserved it. he came in, promptly had a bad turnover and was pulled. i don't blame jazz coaches at all. but Ace was an afterthought during that stretch.

I was OK letting Cody cook. I think it worked out well for Cody and the team's future.

Aside from that this team is damn fun to watch. Crazy we might have 3 starters in the floor tonight.

The Thunder did this with Giddey, Chet and JDub just a couple years ago.

Assists =\= unselfish. He’s not a ball mover. Part of that is that he can’t play off the ball but part of that is that he is somewhat of a ball hog. Last night was an extreme case of this, but he has a tendency to dribble the air out of the ball and dominate the possession.

I’d like to see Cody, Ace and Hendricks all play together. That would help clarify some long-term questions.
