vonleh just had the game of his life. 0 - 13 from field. 0-2 from 3. 0-2 from free throw. 5 fouls 3 turnover. It is just 1 game, but I am sooo glad we didn't get him

Yep. That used to frustrate me. Half of each game would be spent giving "exposure" to a bunch of guys who had ZERO chance of making the roster. This is a much more manageable system, IMO. Look at 16-18 guys during summer league "training camp" then reduce to an NBA active roster size for the games.I love this decision. Turn over some rocks, but when you know exactly what you want to see, you cut the excess. Makes me think that we'll truly get to see what each of our young guys bring to the table by the end of this season. Snyder is focused on evaluating and developing these guys. He's not screwing around with players that don't fit into their plan.

If the Jazz keep everyone who has a contract for 2014-15, including the non-guaranteed ones, the roster is already at 14 players:
Burke, Exum, Lucas
Burks, Clark
Hayward, Hood, Thomas
Favors, Gobert
Kanter, Novak, Evans, Murphy
Look for me... This is what I'll be wearing!!!
