If it’s a dead ball they usually call it a hostile act and it’s a tech not a flagrant. They foul was called first... I’ve never seen a flagrant foul called when there is a dead ball.

That was a huge swing... you put your face in peoples bizness and there will be contact... nba is called so incredibly inconsistently.

I have no idea how you call a flagrant once the play is dead. It’s almost always just a tech.
