Former Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan has announced that he is endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris for the presidency.
Duncan, a lifelong Republican who had previously said he would be voting for President Joe Biden over Donald Trump in November, confirmed his support for the new presumptive 2024 Democratic nominee on social media and in an interview the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Politically Georgia podcast.

Duncan was in office during the 2020 election and had pushed back on Trump's claims of fraud in Georgia. "The mountains of misinformation are not helping the process; they are only hurting it," Duncan told CNN in December 2020. "I voted for President Trump. I campaigned for him. And, unfortunately, he did not win the state of Georgia."

"I'm committed to beating Donald Trump. The only vehicle left for me to do that with is the Democratic Party. If that requires me to vote for, speak for, or endorse Kamala Harris then count me in," Duncan posted on X, formerly Twitter, on Wednesday.
"Unlike Trump, I've belonged to the GOP my entire life. This November, I am voting for a decent person I disagree with on policy over a criminal defendant without a moral compass," Duncan said.
"The GOP will never rebuild until we move on from the Trump era, leaving conservative (but not angry) Republicans like me no choice but to pull the lever for Biden."
"If we don't take our medicine here, it's our fault," Duncan said. "Every Republican in this country ought to hold Donald Trump accountable for this."

Just let Trump go and he will bury himself. Against an even moderately competent opponent he comes across as seriously deranged and delusional. Seriously it looks like a mental illness. Maybe we need to have him involuntarily committed. Where is @infection to give us a diagnosis?

All of these are too clever for Trump. He just grabs onto one aspect he can repeat often and that comes to his mind easily. Probably something like he already said, Lyin' Kamala. Or Crazy Kamala. Simple, to the point, and endlessly repeatable, but it also has to come to him in the moment so none of those portmanteaus will work. Has to be a simple word that paints her in the way he sees her. Like Sleepy Joe. But he obviously can't do anything like Cryin' Bitch Kamala, as he probably wants to. Cryin' Kamala might work...

Yeah, they have a really bad habit of listing off things that are objectively good in an ominous tone as if they're bad. I'm always like yes, why are you glazing them up?

Their base believes that all those things constitute the dreaded "socialism", which MUST BE KILLED AT ALL COSTS!!!! Everyone knows that socialism is just bad. How does it help anyone to provide people of retirement age a living income to support them so they don't drain our resources trying to get the care they need? How does it help anyone to provide medical care for everyone so we don't have ERs that are overrun by people with no insurance and no other way to get care for their flu symptoms? I mean helping people is NOT the purpose of society, they should just get a ****ing job and work for what they get, that's the American way!!!! All for one and everyone for themselves, that is how society runs best. Losers. If they aren't all millionaires by the time they are 55, not mentioning multiple stock market adjustments and a populace that is not informed as to individual investing, so most people have no idea how to get there, well, that is their ****ing problem. Not mine!!!

Wait, what do you mean my social security check is going to be held for 3 weeks? I don't give a **** about a government shut-down, give me my money!!!

They forget that for the Trumpers, him being a felon is a huge selling point. I am surprised he doesn't invoke it at more rallies. They see him as a martyr of a corrupt system that is worth over-throwing if he isn't re-elected.

In all seriousness, I expect something similar to Jan 6th if he isn't elected, but worse and on a larger scale. Maybe not at the capital, since they already tried that, but I could see some groups push for the civil war they are so rabid about. Time to kill the lefties, get the country back on track, headed to Gilead! Yes Commander!! Hail VICTORY!!!!!
