Literally everything the dems accuse trump of they do themselves.
Yeah, I’ll….literally….never forget the time the Democrats attempted to overturn the results of a fair and free election. The exact year escapes me, though. Do you recall the year a Democratic candidate said the only way he could lose is if the Republicans rigged the election? Trump claimed that would be the case in 2016 and 2024*. Oh, and he said it actually did happen in 2020. He’s mentioned it every single day for 4 years now.

You may disagree, but I don’t think Trump and his enablers should be encouraging distrust in our elections. That’s a very damaging thing to do to the body politic. Deliberately make every effort possible to convince the electorate that our elections are corrupt and rigged. That is a lie, and the very last thing anybody should do to the mindset of their fellow Americans is put it in their heads that it’s a waste of time, the elections are rigged.

BTW, Trump’s MO: 1) lie and create alternate realities that never happened, and 2), accuse others of what he himself has done, is doing, or will do shortly. I’ve seen a lot of politicians in my time, but never seen one where nearly every accusation is a confession.

*Here are 12 ways Donald Trump is laying the groundwork for claiming the 2024 election was rigged. If he loses. If he wins, then of course it was not rigged. Do you know any Democrats, you claim you do, who set up every election run with the qualification: if I lose, the election was rigged?

The year of the vote was 2016 and Hillary's chosen pronoun is 'she'. Her exact words were "[Trump] knows he’s an illegitimate president. I believe he understands that the many varying tactics they used, from voter suppression and voter purging to hacking to the false stories — he knows that — there were just a bunch of different reasons why the election turned out like it did … I know he knows this wasn’t on the level."

That is not an attempt to overturn an election silly goose.

I disagree. Hillary is saying the election was illegitimate. It is a verbal attack on the system. Neither her claims, nor the claims of Trump, stopped the peaceful transfer of power, but we should not have a different set of rules depending on which side of the aisle the candidate considers home. These attacks on the system and attempts to delegitimize the opposition are only going to get worse if in every election half the country cheers these statements. Statements like Hillary's and Trump's should be roundly condemned by both sides.
