Kanter analysis from a Kanter hater after last night

Show him the last game Al scored 23 pts and how many shots he took.

Show him last night's game where Kanter took 12 shots to get 23 pts. Then explain how that means there are a lot more shots to go around, a lot more offensive possessions to be had, and a lot more points to be scored when Kanter is on the floor vs Al. And that doesn't even take defense into account.

There is more to basketball than a box score.

I LOLed when I read the first part of your post, because I can't even count how many times I've shown Al's box scores to him, and he just dismisses them and that arguement.

Kanter is still raw, but I love his grit and determination. He still has only been playing basketball since he was 14, and while this is an excuse it still means that if he can learn he can get better.

My brother loves Big Al, and can't understand why I want him gone. He thinks Kanter will be good but wants the jazz to keep Al till Kanter is ready to start. I told him if we get rid of Al now Kanter will be ready to break out in a year or two tops, but with Al it could tak years and years.

He called me an idiot, and I said we'd see who the idiot was after the Bobcats jazz game.
