I agree with Kanter not being a good fit with Favors. I agree that Kanter is not in great shape due to his injury. I agree that Kanter has regressed this year. I agree that the Jazz need to look into trading him not because he sucks (which he doesn't) but because he has value and the Jazz have needs in other positions. I do not agree to trade him simply to trade him. The part about making the playoffs and bringing back AJ is ridiculous. You only trade Kanter if he can improve your team and you think that he doesn't fit with the current team.

Yes there are times where you have to trade away talent to get talent so for all you anti-trade Kanter people you need to realize this. People also have to realize that it is better to trade away talent and get something back to help the team instead of letting it walk out the door for nothing. Do I want to trade Kanter? It depends on the deal and if Kanter isn't really a fit. I certainly don't want to lose him for nothing or not play him and see his stock sink to nothing.

Dude needs to sack up. If Olajuwon could play via fasting, Kanter should be able to play while celibate (if that happens to be the case). Who the hell knows, really.
 
Tough decisions are going to be made with our current roster. THere is no way the Jazz will be able to keep every player. They need to be smart and to juggle the roster to keep the maximum number of players they can. So when a talent player comes up for his extension the Jazz will need to decided if they are part of the big plan or a valuable asset to trade. Hopefully the Jazz have figured this out prior to the contract year so they can trade a player before he just walks. You wait until their contract year that teams are less likely to want to trade for a player.
 
The sad part is, we're not even scratching the surface of what Kanter can do IMO.


Why is Ty playing Marvin, when this year should be all about getting a GREAT draft pick and developing young guys like Kanter?

The only people we need to keep are Favors, Kanter, Hayward, Burke and Jabari.
