How many years do you plan to continue your career in Tofaş team?
Tofaş’ta iki-üç sene daha kalmayı düşünüyorum. Ama daha da ileriye gitmeyi istiyorum. Gerçi kulübüm de bunu istiyor. Tüm teknik ve idari kadromuz nasıl daha ilerleyebileceğimi, neler yapmam gerektiğini hep düşünüyorlar. Bu konuda gerçekten çok şanslıyım. En az bir yıl daha kalmak istiyorum. Sonrası ise benim gelişimime bağlı. O konuda çok kesin konuşamıyorum.
I want to stay in Tofaş 2-3 years more. But I want to go further, and my club wants that,too. All of out management and coaching staff thinks about how I would develop myself, and what I am gonna do. I am really lucky about that. I want to stay at least one more year. After then, it's all about my development level, I cannot speak certain 'bout that.

Does NBA mean much about your career goals as many other basketball players?
Zaten hep NBA’i düşündüğüm için belki de daha çok çalışıyorum. Ama burada bir şeyler gösterip oraya gitmek çok daha mantıklı. 18’inde draft olup gitmek çok zor. Önce Euroleague’deki sertliğe alışmak lazım. Oyuncularla rekabete girmek gerek. Ama hedefim kesinlikle NBA ve olmasını da çok istiyorum. Bazıları NBA tarzı basketbola uygun olmadığımı, bazıları ise tam oranın adamı olduğumu söylüyor. Mesela Jasikevicius da denedi olmadı. Ben de deneyeceğim şansımı.
I always think about NBA and that's because I work harder. But it's more logical to do something here and go there. Being drafted at the age of 18 and go there is hard. First of all, you have to get used to the toughness level of the Euroleauge. You have to compete with other players. But my goal is NBA, and I want to play in the NBA very much. Örnek aldığım oyuncu yok ama Diamantidis’i çok beğeniyorum. Pasları ve organizasyon yeteneği harika. Çok da alçakgönüllü. O tarafını beğeniyorum. NBA’de tabii ki Derrick Rose ama fazla düşünmeye gerek yok çünkü onun gibi olmam zor. Jason Kidd ve Steve Nash’i de seviyorum.
I don't have a role model player but I like Diamantidis very much. His passes and organisation ability is awsome. Vey humble, too. I like his this quality. In NBA, of course it's Derrick Rose, but not need to think very much because it's nearly impossible for me to become as good as him. I also like Kidd and Nash.]
