Whoo hoo!

I love kanters personality. I really hope he improves a bunch and is a jazz man for life.

He always seems happy and energetic and funny. One of the best bench cheeleaders ever. I love watching his reactions from the bench during his first coulple of seasons.

Hopefully his production on court will get to where it needs to be

He said "see you soon on the court" in Turkish too. I wanna consider this as a message to his countrymen.

Maybe he won't miss the World Cup.

I really hope that Kanter can stay healthy now. This is his most important year with us, and for him. He's got to come out and some some improvement.

Something tells me under new management he's got a great shot.

Contract year mother****erz!!

This guy is the most unlucky guy ever, so many bad decisions in his life leading to stunting of his basketball career in NCAA, than ending on Jazz with Corbin and big Al in his first couple years...than freak shoulder injury, now this...I wish he would get a break finally. I think had he played a year in Euroleague, than drafted by some other team where he could have gotten better coaching and more minutes would have done wonders for him.

I agree. But what's done is done. I still love his potential. I'm excited to see how he responds to the new coaches and system. Hopefully they get a good idea of where his value is before RFA. Somebody is going to throw some money at him because of that potential. Jazz need to know if they should match it or not.

Really, dude - really? The man picked up a basketball just a few years ago and is today making millions. I`d call that pretty darn lucky.

8 years is few?
Yup. Some will make few millions and call it a day. Some will make multimillions and become part of basketball history doing that. I don't think Enes is on his "lucky way" so far.

Isaiah Austin: that's unlucky
Joel Embiid: that's unlucky
Len Bias: you get the picture

Enes is getting chance after chance to prove himself on the basketball court. Either way, since he's so tall and big, he'll get a HUGE contract next season. If he can just show the ability to walk and chew gum at the same time, he'll get at LEAST $7/8M per. If he can average a double-double he could conceivably get a better contract than Favors did.

If you look at his total hours played though they are very few. Those U18/16 tournaments were what? 10 games? Locke constantly harps on this and why he considers players with few hours a huge risk. They just don't understand all the intricacies of the sport, and once you're in the NBA, never really have a chance to learn the game at a basic level.

Sorry, Len Bias wasn't unlucky. He was dumb. Period.

I think kanter has had much more bad luck than good luck

Kanter is a goofy kid.
He has made his share of uncalled-for mistakes.
Now, it is time for perestroika, renaissance and reformation.
He will be a double double machine my learned bros:.
