Keon Ellis Trade Ideas

So it is rumored Ellis is on the trade block. I think he is just what the Jazz need. A good defender that can knock down shots.

So I have a fre questions. First it is rumored that the Kings are looking for a protected first rounder for him.

Would you give up a lottery or top 10 protected pick for him?

What would be your max offer for him to extend or in then offseason?

Would you do a trade like sensabaugh or Collier straight up?

What about a trade like Ellis and Carter for Svi, Collier and a protected first?

I really like Ellis and I believe if you trade for him you have his birds rights.

Is it worth trading or just waiting for the off season and trying to slightly overpay to get him here.

*I liked Devin Carter in the draft and still think he has potential. I actually like Carter and Clayton off the bench together.

I don’t mean to speak in relation to this guy, because I don’t know that I have an opinion, but a lot of times when we were talking about getting some of these guys that would be role players, I just think it’s better to find our own when we’re going to have to overpay to ‘eat out.’

If there’s a “cost” to tanking it would be because you can’t make this kind of trade. It’s kinda funny how the Kings are freezing out their only good player. I think a smart team gets him for something like two seconds and re-signs/extends him.
