What's new

Kevin Hart is the worst commedian of all time, not including evolution of course.

Thought I was in the Jazz forum and clicked on this link confusing it with Jason Hart.

I agree with OP
don't understand all the hype he gets

I loved Laugh at My Pain. Have been disappointed since then.

I like brian reagan, demitri martin, and jim gaffigan a lot

I like Hart. He is funny. I have really liked him in his acting roles. He was funny on Modern Family.

I have liked Tina Fey, but that Admissions movie was TERRIBLE. She just needs to realize that she is a comedian and stick to that. She isn't a dramatic actress and probably won't every win an Oscar. Doesn't mean she can't make good movies and make a ton of money. I never thought Paul Rudd could be in a bad move, but Admissions was it. The only parts worth watching are the scenes that involve him and his kid.

Hart is way overblown, but definitely not the worst ever.

Some of my all-time favorites are/were Mitch Hedberg, Bill Cosby, Rodney Dangerfield, Norm Macdonald, Dave Chappelle, Daniel Tosh Pre-TV, Louis CK, Jim Gaffigan, Bill Burr, Patrice O'Neal

Any comedian can be good for like a 2 min youtube clip. Every comedian sucks after that tho.

Boggles my mind that people will watch a guy just say jokes for like 45 min.

False

Go see a good comedian sometime, it's fun.

Off the top of my head:

-Larry the Cable Guy
-Jeff Dunham
-Jeff Foxworthy
-Kat Williams

Are all worse than Kevin Hart. Hart is analogous to Dane Cook who is also a clown (and worse than Kevin Hart).

Maybe with friends and drinks it would be fun. I was meaning that it baffles me that people will watch a stand up show on DVD or something.

Some people feel the same way about movies I guess.

I think stand-up is a pretty amazing medium and I really enjoy it when it's good (LOUIS CK, Anthony Jeselnik, Doug Stanhope, David Cross, Dave Chappelle, George Carlin).

And I know Henry Rollins isn't technically a comedian but I think he's funny. I think Louis CK has more in common with him than he does, say, Dane Cook (who has more in common with Carrot-Top than an actual comedian).
