We're lucky to have them both for a while but which horse wins this race? The poll is not anonymous and you can't change your vote, so place your bet on our future PG.

Tough, I see them as pretty equal

Yeah it is a tough one especially with Keyonte playing so well. Clayton's dominating stint in the second quarter last night was pretty crazy for a guy in his second NBA game. He just has it, IMO. Maybe Keyonte does too though.

WCJ has a high floor but Keyonte has a much higher ceiling. Walter is a good shooter, can get to the rim and can dribble better. But a lot of his success comes from being confident and playing within himself. He reminds me of Joe Ingles in that. I don't think that Clayton sees himself as a future star.

Keyonte, on the other hand, wants to be a star and he is constantly pushing himself to acquire new skills and take tough shots. Key wants to be good at everything. That is why he attacks the basket when his path is not exactly open, why he is attempting risky, long-distance passes, why he is taking difficult shots when the clock is winding down.

The answer to this poll depends on how much you believe in George actually excelling at all of these different skills and becoming a versatile star-level player. I was skeptical about it but he made huge progress in his playmaking, leadership and defense... and I am a believer now. I think that WCJ will become a smart and valuable role player but Keyonte will be someone that the opposing team will be watching the tape on before the games against the Jazz.

One thing that may actually swing the relative career trajectories for Clayton and Keyonte is the playing style. Clayton plays very safely and under control, while Keyonte constantly barrels into the traffic, dunks, rapidly accelerates... You can see George on the floor quite often. That style of play is more likely to result in injuries, so there is a non-zero chance that Keyonte's career will be significantly affected by them.

Reading it more closely, you are asking two different questions: "who has a better career" and "place your bet on our future PG." The answers could be different.

I go with keyonte because I think he has the size/length and athleticism edge.
