I liked AK. Seemed like a nice guy, although a little too soft to be a super successful NBA player. IMO.
He was really exciting at times, and others you wanted to rip your hair out watching him play, or not play.
In the end, AK is being judged more on his contract than anything. He was never worth the max, but that's what the Jazz offered him. Not one of us would turn it down either.
Makes sense to me. He played longer for the Jazz then Hornacek ( if I am correct only Stockton, Malone and Eaton played more years for the Jazz then him ) and has quite a few unique achievements.
I appreciate not having AK's contract on our books.
We can all find something to appreciate about AK.
He was a tender loving thing.
Oh, and he was a bad crier.
Don't be surprised when AKMVP neg reps you for this image. Only he would find it insulting. I find it as a work of art. Thanks for those AK. Also, glad to see that max contract bought something of good value instead of a back tat.
