I don't want Kirilenko as he'll want a long term deal, but trading for someone like Deng, Bogut, Granger would be amazing. They are expiring and it fills the cap temporarily so that we can re-sign Kanter/Favors/Burks/Hayward in the future. It's much better than signing a FA to a 3 or 4 year deal.

Why again do we temporarily have to fill the cap?

Agreed. I think trading for Bargnani (2nd rounder) or Byron Mullens would compliment Favors/Kanter/Gobert.
 
To consider signing AK you have to consider having him fort 3 or 4 years, as Colton said. That's why he opted out; he wants a long-term deal. Is this in the best interests of the Jazz. Maybe if they didn't have Marvin on the payroll. What a mistake he was. But probably they're better off looking for younger player.
 
AK I wouldn't mind at the right price (not sure why he's opting except if he thinks he can get more money, which is unlikely). Boozer not so much. He'll sit half a season if he tweaks his nipple.
