Hey, I've been a news reporter, so you try to get the exact quote because just one word off can change meaning. But he also did say that he couldn't guarantee AK wouldn't be traded and that they have been listening to proposals the last 48 hours. In other words, other parties are trying to interest the Jazz in becoming part of the deal -- which means they clearly said no to just Diaw and so Ross was added. Is everything simply contingent on Melo's decision to sign an extention? Doesn't sound like it to me, and it's not clear if Diaw and Ross would interest the Jazz either because they haven't said yes to that either.
