That’s why I think he’s more suited at the 4, cos he could play next to a defensive center who could help cover up some of his defensive mistakes. It is very, very hard for a defensively a challenged big to become a starter in the modern NBA. It pretty much never happens among the centers and is still very rare among the power forwards. You need to be among the best offensive talents in the league at your position to achieve that (I am not counting tanking teams that need anyone to just take the starter minutes). Kyle will need to demonstrate good scoring and playmaking skills to become a solid bench player and he will need to greatly improve his defense or to become one of the best scoring bigs to become a solid starter. I think the former is considerably more likely.
I didn’t think his defense was that bad. Most of the bigs in summer league were rather small and quick of foot. Bigs in the actual league are bigger and not as fast.
Nothing wrong with his rebounding you’re stereotyping imo.His defensive concern is that he's not big enough and won't be able to protect the rim/rebound well enough. Moving his feet is one of his better defensive attributes.

A visionary, vision is scaryOh wow, these post are 6 days apart.
So am I still a contrarian? Or maybe I'm a visionary.
