He could be our damn perimeter defensive coach. Ever since his first stint with us I’ve been saying he’s a criminally underrated defender. He plays great off-ball defense and always manages to stick with his guy, often denying him possession, which often goes unnoticed because... duh... his guy doesn’t get the ball as much. The other is that he stays between his man and the basket. There’s no stat (or highlight) for that.

There used to be a tracking stat for that. I'm not sure why it went away, I think it's a great tool for evaluating defensive effort.
