Cody is the only I guy to see the potential to play his way into a starting position....but realistically there will be at least 1-2 guys who earn their starting spot in the same way that Key, Hendricks, and Brice did at the end of last season.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Collins starting at some point

hardy has it right. hendricks and sexton. it should go without saying (but rarely actually does on the internet so i'm saying it anyway) but that is of course subject to change after 10-15 games or so if warranted.

It's kind of surprising but cool seeing the poll results that show that pretty much everyone thinks that Hendricks should start. Given the amount of criticism that Hendricks received here all throughout the last season and the Summer League. And also given the fact that the Jazz have a good number of decent players who can start at the PF (Collins, Eubanks, Filipowski - well, he has a decent potential at least) and a promising high pick in Cody who can be pushed in the starting lineup if Lauri slides to PF.

In just one year after being drafted (and looking so lost at first) Hendricks really established himself in the eyes of coaches and fans.

Lauri playing SF/PF is irrelevant, especially when considering the other options. The idea of starting Eubanks and Kessler is a criminal thought.

Hendricks and Sexton makes the most sense if we want to learn from the vets (pups can't teach pups mentality).

But I think the sexier lineup is Hendricks and Cody. The length and defense around Lauri/Key with Kessler, Cody, and Hendricks oozes with potential. I love the balance of offense and defense with that lineup. It would be really fun/attractive basketball to watch...

Eventually. Since this is meant for 'by the end of the season' that locks in my vote.

Personally, I’d like to see what it looks like if the Jazz play Keyonte, Williams, Hendricks, Lauri and Kessler a ton of minutes together. Unless and until they move him, my vote is for Sexton to start (love the guy) but that lineup I listed is the 5 man lineup I’m most excited to see this year.
