Had some pretty good debates with some of you folks that liked Shabazz. I'd like to say I was right and you all were wrong, but, it's a little early for that, we need a couple more years before we can really judge Shabazz. But, it's safe to say he isn't in the running for any rookie of the year awards.
This year I'm down on Randle. I wanted to give you folks a chance to get in here and support him or bash him as you see it.
I see him as a bust. I don't think he'll be able to contribute to an NBA team now or in the future as a starting PF. Maybe he'll carve out a roll as a reserve. But, I think he is going to quickly wash out of the NBA instead.
Offensively he won't be able to bully defenders like he has in college. And with only being able to handle the ball with one hand, it should be rather easy to stop dribble penetration. I don't believe he has the touch to be a jumphooting threat. Long story short, I don't see how he will score.
On the defensive side of the ball it's just as bad if not worse. He's got short arms and poor awareness. So, a liability on both ends of the floor.
