I like good female musical artists above all else. Don't know why or how men dominate music as much as they do. And it has always been really weird for me to see men idolize other men who are basically performing sexual performances about either how awesome of a man they are or how crazy they are for having sex with women. Oddly enough, a quick search on google (St Vincent Brooklyn -tickets) yielded nothing. While she does LIVE in New York, at least according to Wikipedia, I'm not sure if she would say that she's from Brooklyn, specifically. Any more than David Bowie would have said he was from Manhattan or Leonard Cohen would have said he was from Los Angeles.
