Seriously, tho, if Melissa just went a poppier, between her singing/writing talent and her looks, she would be a massive star. Altho I guess she'd have to stop the metal growls. I have so much respect for her.

How many people have I seen butcher that song? And its always the same reason, they try to over sing it.
I remember I was about 14 when I first was given a copy of Grace, my older cousin who had been to one of his shows in Melbourne gave me, Grace, Dummy and Murder Ballads. (I think it was early 96?) Those three albums really started to change the music I listened to, like most kids that age I was really into grunge and a bit of the older stuff like Dylan and Zeppelin. But that exposure started getting me into stuff like Nina Simone, Beth Orton, the Dirty Three, Bjork and on and on and on.
