Wow! That was bizarre. Major Bowie vibes though..
Pretty much everyone in Britain in the 80s had major Bowie vibes... Japan was famously the band that Duran Duran wanted to be. This was near the end of the band, when they started getting more experimental. Here's one of their earlier songs. Just listen to that fretless bass. Also, the keyboardist is Richard Barbieri, who ended up joining Porcupine Tree as one of the three main members, the others being Steven Wilson and drummer Gavin Harrison.

Rudolph Hess, who was Hitler's deputy Fuhrer, was evil even for a Nazi. He was imprisoned for 40+ years in Spandau Prison, the last 20 of those he was the only prisoner there. When he finally died in 1987, neo-Nazis staged marches and celebrations of his life. This is a song about that. (The German introduction here, btw, translates as "This song is an anti-fascist song. The next song is an anti-fascist song. We are still an anti-fascist band.")
