Legit Jazz Draft Rumor

I think it is true the Rigby had the conversation. I think it is true that all sorts of Jazz guys are having conversations like this (except KOC). I think most of the talk is just talk however. I think if i asked Randy Rigby about the Jazz drafting Beavis or Butthead, he'd say we've liked them and are considering them - especially in a trade...

Link an issue. On the other hand, I can link tons of articles that claim what a fantastic kid he is .. not that it matters .. Sac ain't goin' there.

Agreed. It would be hugely irresponsible for for Rigby to be sharing this info with his church buddies. This rumor is crap and worth about as much as if he claimed the Holy Ghost revealed it to him.
 
If they picked up Cousins in this deal... I would be so ecstatic, even if they had to trade the farm for him. I'd just be concerned that even if he's on good behavior that he would bolt when his rookie deal was up. I think we have potential to keep guys around and at least see where the Jefferson (or his precipice), Hayward, Favors, #3, #12 combo takes us... if we're smart, but Cousins seems like a guy that isn't swayed by wins and losses and potential.

I agree with the Burks part because the Jazz are really keeping this workout on the down low. We all heard about how Knight did decent in his shooter and how Jimmer out played Kemba but we haven't heard anything (besides vagueness) about Thompson and Burks except that it was good.

OK, I'll play along. How do you have a conversation the other night about last night's conversation? And shouldn't Rigby be either too busy with his job at this point or with Family Home Evening to be talking about the Jazz to people in his ward? Or maybe (and the plot thickens) he was having FHE with the members of his singles ward? :)
 
I posted in another thread that my "inside" Jazz sources told me they think Burks' ceiling would be Ray Allen and would love to get him in the draft. :D
