Don't think we can trade Jesus.
Mormons think they own the guy..
It's true. What the LDS Church does with immigrants behind the scenes would make you think that they thought they owned Jesus.

Of course supporting cast matters. Don't be obtuse. If you want to make the playoffs, you need a team. If you want to win a title, you need a star.
Hayward isn't a star. Gobert is a lot closer than I ever dreamed possible. So, there are currently two stars available. One star gives you the chance to keep Hayward and Gobert (Lillard).
Go get him.
As far as Hill goes, if I have to trade him to bring in Lillard, I trade him. In fact, I traded him in my other crazy *** thread post. Hill is a very, very, very nice player. Lillard is better.
We have Gobert, they don't. Get Lillard if you can. It's easier for us to hide him.
What happened to Portland? They have the same team as last year. A lot of fans on their forums blame it on Lillards lack of D and hero ball in the 4th quarter.

So successful they decided to trade him for Teague. I'd say he was moderately successful. Certainly he CAN play off ball, but his effectiveness diminishes.Uhh, Hill was very successful off ball in Indy. He might not like it and certainly wouldn't re-sign, but it would be effective.

The NBA disagrees. Or maybe it was an imposter in NOLA. Hayward is a star, proven.
Sorry to burst your bubble but that's not how it works.
Teague was a very good PG in Atlanta...So successful they decided to trade him for Teague. I'd say he was moderately successful. Certainly he CAN play off ball, but his effectiveness diminishes.
I agree with the hero ball and lack of defense remarks.
If Lillard is a superstar and Hayward isn't a star, how do we explain the W/L records this season?
Lillard has a team that made the playoffs last year. That's on him he can't lead them to a winning record. When has Hayward ever put the Jazz on his back, dropped 30 points to lead them to a win?
Lillard this year: 39 vs Jazz, 37 vs Denver, 42 vs Dallas, 38 vs PHX, 36 vs Sac, 32 vs Denver, 30 vs Chicago, 33 vs Memphis. He did it 19 times last year.
Gordon: six times this year. Two times last year.
We are splitting hairs here as well. Hayward is on a playoff team. Lillard is on a terrible team. That is why one was an All Star and the other wasn't. They are both very good players. I'd rather have Lillard and I'd bet most GM's feel the same.
Lillard can carry a team. Lillard and Gobert would be special together. More special than Hayward and Gobert.
The crazy thing is, it sounds like the Jazz could get Hayward, Lillard and Gobert. That is orgasmic.
