So.

DL is a wizard of epic proportions. Man can cure cancer. (Thanks for not saving mom and gma you prick)

Mitchell
Gobert

Enough said right there.

But wait, there’s more

We can throw in an Ingles and rain 3s!

What else you ask?

Well allow me to show you!

Exum under team control. As an added bonus we will throw in O’Neal and Crowder for the next 2 years for under 10 mill per total.

Why you ask?

Because why the hell not. That and chips.

So, I ask you Jazz Nation.

Who is the allstar/superstar that cant wait to play for Snyder with Gobert and Mitchell?

Oh, and Snyder.

Check the sig peeps.

The fact that he signed Royce on a three year cheap deal alone proves that DL is a better GM than KOC.
There are a lot of things that prove DL is a better GM than KOC, but KOC hired DL so that puts us in a bit of a quandary... was KOC the GOAT?

Also, if DL is a wizard, does that mean KOC, with his Irish background, is a leprechaun?

KOC was solid.

But he set us up solid. He could see the shine on DL

Only people like Misison Improbable and Lakers Sucker can’t.

He hasn't been perfect, but anyone down on the man needs to take 5 minutes and peek pretty much every other working GMs resume beyond Buford, Preston, and Morey (what's happening with Golden State is just pure magic).

I was a bit off the Hood trade at the time because I thought we could have got more. However, after the dust had settled I now beleive DL had better offers for Hood on the table but wanted Crowder. He identifies his targets and finds a way to get them.

He is certainly paired with the right coach. They take ultra competitive guys and maximize their skill sets. I think it's been grossly underrated getting Crowder for Hood, who ultimately didn't want to be here and would have walked for nothing this summer. Keeping Favors instead of trading him for a coke and bag of chips was the right move also imo.

It's kind of a shame that some of the haters poked their heads up earlier in the season.

Just imagine if we kept Haywood and drafted the best rookie in the league this year. Utah would be a top 2-4 team in the league. As it is, we may not be that far off even without Haywood. I wouldn't bet against DL going into next year.

I'm actually starting to come around to this idea of him being a wizard... Everyone knows that we aren't winning it all in 2018 or 2019. We've got to build for AFTER that, and that's exactly what DL is doing. The Warriors are going to be a beast for at least this season and next, but they're not going to last past the 2019-2020 season as currently constructed unless their stars take way less money to play together, or unless they trade 2 guys of their core for another superstar (maybe Klay and Draymond for AD?)

Either way, we're set up really nicely headed forward. We can essentially keep most of the same team we have now headed into next year, and make the playoffs now and in 2018. Then in 2019, you go hard after Kawhi or another superstar, and are set up really nicely headed forward. The future is really really bright. Establishing a winning culture the next two seasons can go a long way to achieving that.

We already have a thread on this. Oh wait, it's your own ****ing playoff bus choo choo fist bump chest bump thread.
