i was all over derrick williams.. just shows how hard it is to judge talent for what they will be in a situation that theyve never been in before

I was too, then I calmed. I couldn't figure out how he fit in with Millsap, and we knew (know) Millsap is good and players don't translate a lot of the time. And Williams measured out as substantially heavier and taller than most 3s and the Jazz already had too many 4s.

Crazy how a player can get hyped up and cause GMs that should know better to make a bad decision.

I still remember when Biyombo had that individual workout.

Someone said Biyombo "just went 1 on 1 against air and lost"

Lmao.

Chad Ford said that I believe, classic.

I also never said Biyombo would be a force offensively, either. Those workouts were terrible, if for no other reason than the idea that it would do him any favors as that was not his skill.

Rule #2 - You don't spend a lottery pick on a defensive player with ZERO offensive game.

That has NEVER panned out for a team. If I am wrong, tell me, but I can't think of a defensive lottery pick that changed the future of a team.

Heck, which rookies have made the biggest difference to their teams this last year? Barnes, and Lilliard, both very, very good offensive players. The top two picks were defensive players and they haven't changed anything for their teams.

Hasn't he been going off lately and rebounding like a mother lately, since Love got Hurt?

Kind of a small sample size. First I do agree with Lillard, but Barns hasn't exactly set the NBA on fire. Second... No rookie is making a difference on the Bobcats. I think MKG will be a very good player and one of the more coveted sf's when off his rookie contract, and Unibrow is not a one dimensional. He does have some offensive skills, but he is raw like Kanter, and Favors, just needs time to develop like most bigs.

Also as far as Lillard goes the Blazers still are about as good this year as last, Lillard is looking like rookie of the year but he hasn't changed The Blazers fortunes in the win loss column.

Interesting comment about Lillard. He seems to have all the tools to succeed, may be it takes time.
