What's new

Locke looks at Alec Burks' stats (if you're bored)

Love Burks. Can't wait to see what he does in his sophomore season, especially since he'll likely be starting. Damn, now that I think about it, we could be seeing Burks, Hayward, and Favors all in the starting lineup next season. So pumped.

I would love those three in the starting lineup.

I hate this so much, but reality is setting in for me. We probably need Jefferson next year. I just don't see kanter ready. I think we see milsap as a sixth man and Jefferson (gulp) do well as favors plays center and cleans up his messes.

Burks is a great young player. Nothing but upside with that kid.

My biggest problem with Locke's stuff is he's always extrapolating to get per 36 min stats.
Any halfwit statistics grad (like he says he is) should know that we can't expect that type of linear behavior.

I have a feeling he'll right in between Westbrook's assist numbers and Deng's rebound numbers. He has good court vision and he's long for 2 and can rebound.

I think a consistant 26 year old Larry Hughes is possible, but unlikely. A Westbrook/Deng hybrid would be so rad, tho.

That would be insane, to say the least.

That wing shares chart is kind of misleading when you consider the fact a lot of those guys were on crappy teams that barely won any games.

We can't predict how much improvement Kanter will make in the offseason, and to be perfectly honest, I really don't care if he isn't ready next year. He needs the kind of minutes Favors got this year, and that ain't happening with Jefferson around. He needs to go, for the sake of not only Favors, but Kanter, too.

Jeffy needs to go for the sake of my sanity if nothing else.

that is such a good point.

We can't get Favors on the court, let alone Kanter, or even Evans for that matter.

If we have to go through this again next year. It's going to suck bad.

I think we should consider starting Birks and bringing Heyword off the benchHeyword was great coming off the bench. He could still play 35

Can you guys see Burks being a more versatile Jamal Crawford?

I think crawford is much better from deep than buks will ever be.

I see burks as more similar to dwane wades game.... and i always have seen him that way which is why i was so excited when he was drafted.

I'm not bored so is there any way you can make a not-bored thread about this particular issue? I feel left out.
