Well since they're paying his salary he might not say things that don't agree with what the FO wants to portray.

He just said he likes Withey and he doesn't think the Jazz are 100% sold on Pleiss, which makes sense with the Withey signing. All the things he says are just kind of common sense insights.
My take on Locke is that he will form a conclusion and then find the statistics to back up that conclusion. If Lindsey had gone out and signed an offensive center, Locke would likely say it was a great fit because we need more scoring. We all just need to keep in mind that Locke is being paid by the Jazz when listening to everything that he says.

Yeah but he would never question Withey in a way that's detrimental to the Jazz as an organisation as a whole because he's being paid by them. That goes against Locke's ability to be an impartial analyst but that's what you get.

Exactly.
It appears as though he's being thorough and credible because his analysis is backed up by proper stats, but there is always going to be a hidden agenda as long as he is being paid by the Jazz.
I don't mind him, he is enthusiastic and is passionate. We just have to remember to take his analysis/opinion with a grain of salt as he is after all being paid by the Jazz.
