Locker room trouble?

Update: I was listening to Locke's podcast yesterday, and according to Locke, the Jazz were dead last in the league in defense for the month of March.

You can blame the players, sure, but you also gotta blame the coach. Either, the Jazz players simply aren't capable of playing good defense or are just bad defenders (Looking at the level of athleticism on the team, I'm less inclined to believe this one), the defensive schemes don't work well, for whatever reason (this is more credible to me), and/or Corbin doesn't do a good job teaching/motivating his players to play defense (this also seems more credible to me).

I cannot believe that dead last defensively in the league fulfills Lindsay's objectives for Corbin and the team at the beginning of the year. Honestly, and with all the objectivity I can possibly muster, I just do not see how the Jazz can renew Corbin's contract and seriously tell the fans that they are committed to building a winner.

Locke knows we all know Lindsey's objectives. I think he is trying to tell those who will listen that the jazz will take care of business.

They're going to fix that problem by replacing the seats with those of a more neutral color. The green really shows up when a butt ain't in it.

I heard that they just purchased a bunch of animatronics.

Still a pretty tough ask though, when you're losing it's hard to motivate your team to play defense. A lot of the games are blowouts by the 3rd quarter too.

Dennis is the GM for sure, but isn't Ty buddy buddy with Greg and Gail was nearly brought to tears when she said all those good things about Ty at the Press Conference when he was hired? IIRC, She said something along the lines of "Sloan was with us 20+ years, and we hope you can do the same".

Tough task or not it is the task given to him. It is part of being a coach. For whatever reasons you want to post, valid or not, Corbin did not deliver in the areas he is being judged on (according to what the FO has said).

As for Greg, I think he has very few friends when it comes to business. He seems like he'd sell anyone in the Jazz organization down the river if it benefited him.

He is a worse than middle tier coach. He took the team to the playoffs, we were swept. KOC then improved the roster, and we missed the playoffs. Corbin somehow took a playoff team, with an improved roster and made it worse.

And, I'm sick of hearing about how Lindsay set Corbin up to fail. Horny has less talent than Corbin. Look at where PHX is. Look at where Utah is. Heck, Boston, LA, Sacramento, Detroit and maybe even Cleveland all have less talent than Corbin has...

Hard to argue with this post...
