Lockout!!!

Players tweets post decertification threats:

Austin Daye: ppl do ur research understand both sides then express ur opinion!! Are jobs are only as secure as are youth remember that!

JaVale McGee: Groupies know we don't have a job ... Now we can't use "I play in the nBA" as a pick up line

DeMar DeRozan: It's crazy how ppl say we're greedy. Y'all have no idea or understand its not us that's the problem

Brandon Rush: Why didn't I play baseball.
Greg Monroe: Dammit!!!
Marshon Brooks: Sad sad day

I love Demar Derozan's quote. Yea, damn you all Demar would barely be able to feed his family with the new CBA. :)

I agree. This was absolutely an offer that the players needed to review and vote on. They seem to be more invested in appeasing the elite players than the other 400 mid-level and minimum salary guys. I think this probably would have been passed if there had been a vote. It's too bad. Guys like Ronnie Price probably won't see an NBA floor again. Guys like Kobe and Garnett are throwing away the twilight of their primes. Tim Duncan's knees won't last. Al Jefferson will put on weight. Steve Nash is DONE! All because All-Stars want to play exactly where they want to play, and want multiple teams having bidding wars on their services.

Ronnie shouldn't have seen the floor last season. :)

"I don't want to make any assumptions," union VP Keyon Dooling said. "I believe we'll continue to try to get a deal done or let this process play out. I don't know what to expect from this process."

You don't know what to expect from this process??? Well, I guess that makes sense, cause if you DID know what this process would lead to, you wouldn't be doing it.

Do any of these players have any idea what they're doing? It's like a bunch of toddlers were just introduced to Ayn Rand...

Your posts are so idiotic. There are hundreds of other professions that require individuals to move or to live in cities that they don't necessarily want to live in. Why should the NBA be any different? And here's the real kicker, just like in other professions, if a player doesn't like his "current working conditions" he can quit and either go work for somebody else (see Williams, Deron) or look for a new profession (see - in a few months - plenty of current NBA players).

Didn't you hear. Delonte West already found another job!

All of this was inevitable. These guys are total imbeciles. And they're being led by a moron (Hunter) and a preening dickhead (Fisher).

D-League players, College free agents, anybody who wants to try out and play. I don't care. I am done with these players. I hope their contracts are voided and they all can go play in timbuktu for all I care.
I don't know how this works, maybe I'm wrong, but isn't the D-league part of the NBA which is in lockout. Which means no basketball regardless.
