What's new

lol @ Trey Burke. Said earlier this week the Jazz tried to "break" him, that we held him back

Not really what Burke was in school. He certainly wasn't the most athletic, but combine measurements and athletic testing are all above average. He wasn't a high volume in Michigan either.

His problem is that he can't play any other way than the way he played in college. His limitations are more mental than physical.

I think his limitation are more physical than mental but that he is limited so far in his career by both. He's slow, unathletic (for the NBA), short, and weak. One of those things can be fixed, he could add strength, not sure that would help him much without athleticism and speed.
.
In college those were not really problems as most college players are not NBA players.

It was a horrific draft. The best players and only game changers were Giannis (15) and Gobert (27)

C.J. McCollum was selected at #10 and he put up 20 points a game last year. He isn't a huge game changer like Gobert or Giannis...but we could've had him instead.

This is sad. The Jazz didn't TRY to break him, but they broke him nonetheless. Looks like he's trying to choke down tears when he's talking and I'm not mocking him. He wasn't good here, but last year, it's hard to make the argument he deserved the DNPs with the players slated in front of him in the rotation.

NAOS and Dal should just **** and get it over with. The sexual tension between those two is incredibly overwhelming.

IMO, they stuck with him a year or two longer than they should have. I guess I just don't understand the idea that Utah somehow owed him something. He had more than his share of opportunities in Utah, and ended up getting DNPs after Utah just couldn't find anyone interested in giving anything of value for him.

Utah didn't break him. Bottom line, Trey just isn't good enough.

He was already broke. Tonight he had 7 minutes for 2 rebs. That's it.
