Longest Thread Ever

well, PKM has a busy day. . .. in fact weeks. . .. ahead. Months most likely.

today I closed the gap to 22,042, a mere 1300 percent ahead of me and everyone else except a mere core of 77 hardcore JF sitedwellers.

awesome. I spend all day and gain 12 posts on this guy.

and some smart financial planner should start a firm to administer Estates and Trusts left to the dogs. . . . .

well we did have a link on here at one point for some outfit that promised to take care of your pets after the "End of Days" thing happened. Trouble is, it didn't happen as scheduled. I think it was in the TULT thread if you're interested.

Time for some more Ambrose Bierce:

WASHINGTONIAN, n. A Potomac tribesman who exchanged the privilege of governing himself for the advantage of good government. In justice to him it should be said that he did not want to.
They took away his vote and gave instead
The right, when he had earned, to eat his bread.
In vain—he clamors for his "boss," pour soul,
To come again and part him from his roll.

I guess few could relate to the times when I was a youngster. This is turn-of-the-century humor, and discussing the point that DC didn't get a vote in the house or electoral college.

Progressivism has changed all that. Now they get to vote maybe ten or twenty times, and buttonhole all your representatives, too.

and everyone knows you won't think beyond what teach says, or the media, unless you run with the snobs too good to believe and just unthinkingly don't believe, but have nothing to back it up either way.
