What's new

Longest Thread Ever

Not to mention all the extracurricular distractions today..

I'd say the Jazz victory over the Grizzly's might have given us some comic relief from out tragic frame of mind in JF forum. People who are happy are less inclined to meaningless or pointless threads. . . . . but I expect them all back after we close the gap with the Lakers and then lose an easy game again. . . .

If only you'll contribute more than I do to this thread, I'll never catch you. . . .. just like what PKM's doing. . . .

we can all win.
I have many other things I'm busy with...you know, that benefit society. Saturday was spent at a youth basketball game, followed by a couple of hours of soccer (I coach a girl's 8-yr old team). I then spent time with the family, including helping my daughter get a jump on her homework since she has a couple of weekdays that are really jammed with activities.

I hope some folks are going to go the Energy Solutions arena to watch the pointless NCAA tournament. Pointless since no Utah team is in the fray. . . .

Today was spent at church, followed by a get-together at my neighbor's house to celebrate their twin babies.
I was a bit selfish, though, and managed to get in a 2-hr nap...instead of spending that time posting. I'm SORRY!

This is a little late, but..

May all of you find (besides PKM who already has this):

This is actually good news. I totally support your fine efforts to help some more relevant folks than me. I just wish I could give you some rep right now. Later, man.

In my own case, I had two whole days with my girls on the ranch. They were off a quarter mile in the sand building ancient civilizations' ruins and doing indian war whoops while I did some spring cleaning in the animal pens.

Nap time is essential to all that's good in life, including this thread.

thank you very much for the luck o' the Irish. My daughter has her "History of Scotland" book she's been reading to me while we drive through the desert. . . . I'd probably think the luck of the Vikings might be more relevant, but at leat the Irish got some red hair in the deal.

Serious ?, perhaps the wrong thread. Trying to get an animated gif for my avatar but it just posts as a static pic. Any suggestions?

That was today... I just thought all the old ladies at church were just hitting on me today!!

Jesus said "Blessed are the Merciful".

In support of the Master's teaching, I offer this humble observation:

Wink at a teen looker, and you'll get, if you're successful in your old fools' quest, a heart you can hang meat on.

Get caught in the snare of an old hag, and be damned if you don't have gratitude that even God would covet.

I know nothing of the problem or the solution. I like that static Irishman though. Anybody who can answer this question is going to have at least two interested pupils.
