I think some "would you rather" games would pick up the steam in this thread.

Would you rather give your Mom a colonoscopy or take a bath in someone else's diarrhea?

this goes to the point of who is the relevant "lawgiver". . . . . if you're believing in scientists and professionals and wanting the government to lay down all the laws, it might very well be claimed that the proper ethics and morals are consisting of supporting those man-made laws. . . . . .

So who is gonna be the lawgiver is the issue. Whether in the realm of personal morals there can exist personal freedom to believe and act as one thinks best. . . . or whether we need a statist religion, or a statist "progressivism" to impose some defined "law" upon us. . . ..

Seems better to me to leave the government outta the business of prescribing belief and action in the area where there is no need for regimentation. . . . .

Actually, if we can lay our Ute partisanship aside, I think MoTown has a point. When Alex Smith was sidelined, the 9=ers found a competent QB in the ranks who actually did the job better, but the management of the 9=ers was better than the management of the Jazz. . . . they kept playing the "bench" QB even after Big Al was ready to play again. . . .. and won.

teammates can make a lot of stats for a QB, and can literally carry a bad QB to victory. . . .. switch QBs and see what happens. Looks like the "bench" did better than the "starter".

I'm the humble servant of 'Er Majesty, the Queen'. . . . . well, my principal manager, my wife. I sell stuff on the internet, I run rentals and a ranch. . .. and do whatever she needs me to do. . . . . I have all the tax deductions. . . .. depreciation, expenses. . . .. she has all the income. . . . hah hah. Used to be a chemist.
