Looks like Kanter or PG

I'm not real worried about who we take at 3. If I'm picking, my order is;
Irving
Williams
Kanter
Knight

... as long as it's one of those four .. I'd be disappointed with Kemba, but TRULY believe if it's a PG it's definitely Knight for the Jazz.

No idea, but I wouldn't want to look any lower than 5th for the initial pick .. unless it meant non-protected early lottery for 2012 ..

Summary- If it happens, Cavs will get Rip Hamilton and 8th pick from Pistons for trade LBJ's trade exception. They will then trade 8th and 4th pick for the 2nd and draft D-Will2 who they love. They will then buy out Rip

So that leaves the Jazz either taking Kanter or Knight/Walker which isn't a bad thing, I just really wanted D-will2

You can have BOTH!

Pick Kanter @ #3
Pick Fredette @ #12

Fredette is a heady player who has ice in his veins, can shoot lights out from 3pt with unlimited range. Plus, we have Hayward to help do a lot of playmaking and ball handling - we don't need another PG who will be a ball hog. We need a PG who can shoot.

A fit for Jazz's system
Who would you rather have to run the Jazz's system - a Billups type player - composed, calm, big enough to set screens, can knock down the 3pt when called upon. Or - a Westbrook type player - athletic (granted), but at times erratic and turnover prone (*cough* Knight *cough*).

Comparison to Billups
As I've said in other threads, I see Fredette as being a Billups type player and Billups is at least his ceiling. Billups isn't overly athletic, he doesn't play above the rim, he doesn't make flashy pass. But who he does bring is stability, runs the team, and makes his living making 3pts. Opponents respect his 3pt which enables him to make plays for others.

I actually wouldn't mind this at all. Although I'm currently doing my diligence on Valanciunas. As of today, I'm not sure between him and Kanter.

Sooo.... Minny is being typical dumbass Minny.

If the draft goes the way they're saying in this article:

1. Irving (Cavs)
2. Dwill (Cavs)
Then that leaves the Jazz with two choices:
1. Kanter
2. Knight

Whatever the Jazz don't choose, would probably end up being the 4th pick. So kanter/knight (whoever the Jazz pass)

So Minny would then choose either Kanter or Knight. Brilliant, for a team that already has love and a bunch of PGs.

No wonder why they're constantly in the lottery

It's actually pretty smart by Minnesota. I'm guessing they are eying Jonas or Kanter. At least one of them will drop to them at 4, if not both.

This is far from a done deal though. They could be looking at moving Michael Beasley to make room for Williams.
