Trey's Freshman stats are better that Thurl's. Thurl was picked 7. If Trey can come close to Thurl the Jazz will have done great in picking a solid rotation player at 12.

If there's disappointment to be had with this pick, it should be back when we won 1 or 2 meaningless games in the end of the season that cost the Jazz the 10th pick. Winslow and Turner would have been there for us.

Once we're at 12 and choosing between Lyles, Booker, Oubre and Dekker, I have no problem with this pick.

Go to 33:00 for feedback on the Jazz. Called the Lyles pick 'not a home-run, but a double.' They both like the Hanlan pick and like him better than Burke. One of their favorite 2nd-round picks.

Still so happy about the Lyles pick and for once the Jazz picked my guy. There is no doubt in my mind he will be good. So much loving the prospects of watching a three man rotation of Gobert Favors and Lyles. They will put the league on notice. As some have alluded to him being soft or shy. Just watching his interviews. I'm not sure this is the case. I do see some Duncan in his personality. Not saying his game compares just personality.

This is how I felt about Hood last year. He was my guy last year I was super pumped for him. I'm warming up to Lyles. I like the Hanlan pick better though. A potentially good player at a position of need.

Have to keep your expectations realistic. Utah isn't at the top of most of these kid's lists as preferred destinations. Give him a chance to acclimate.
