What's new

Lyles is the pick at 12

I hope I am. :)

Regardless of whether we are all wrong about Lyles, your post was spot on. Exum is a terrible example to keep bringing up, for exactly the reasons you stated. CY has no good answer to reasoning, so he just says you are wrong, which s lame.

Also attitude, not saying that should be a chief or main reason for drafting Lyle or any player but it does play a part (however large) he showed he is willing to play whatever helps the team, even as the #6 HS prospect he came off the bench and not only that came off the bench to play not his natural position, I think that attitude will pay dividends on his development with the way it may fit with the Jazz.

As has been said if the other team goes small he can get some small amount of minutes at C (giving Favors a rest) although being a 19yr old rookie I will be patient in his development curve.

Cy was not too happy, too, he's just trying to switch to a more positive mode, as am I now. We can't do anything but support our rookies now and try to help them succeed.

I will be be rooting for both Lyles and Hanlan and hoping they become great players for the Jazz...

GO JAZZ!

You look up "Debbie Downer" and you'd probably see a picture of this guy:

OK, I'm done with the negativity... posted my impressions, my reaction, my grades of the picks... From now on, it's time to be supportive of our new rookies and hope they reach their full potential and lead us to championships(yes, plural... not 1, not 2...).

Come on everybody, lets welcome our rookies...

1..2..3... TREY ROCKS!

Yep, time to get on board. I'm just hoping for some kind of significant trade to make the offseason more exciting. I'm not too optimistic about free agency, so that's where I'm placing my hope.
