Magnitude 5.9 earthquake hits DC area/east coast

east coast people are so weak.

Any lil tiny bit of snow and schools and businesses shut down for weeks.
A tiny earthquake and we'll hear about it for weeks as if the end of the world is near.

Meanwhile, other parts of the country suffer from record breaking droughts and floods and you never hear a peep from the lamestream media. Same thing happens in sports. How many more times does Pitt need to go to a BCS game with barely a .500 win percentage while so many teams out west are screwed?

That jump from 5.8 to 5.9 represents a 10 fold difference in power. It's a pretty big deal.

Oh, and Archie... you're going to hell.

No... a jump from 5.8 to 6.8 represents a 10 fold increase in power...

Anyway

I saw that same photo that Joker posted, but with a caption "A PICTURE OF THE DEVASTATION OF THE EAST COAST EARTHQUAKE"

That cracked me up!

(the attempt to humorously compare it to 9-11 in the photo above bothers me a little)

Dumbest post of the week.

My wife and I were on the boardwalk in Point Pleasant NJ - a mild shaking under my feet for about 5 seconds or so.

I thought it was just from the usual throng of females when candrew walks around with his shirt off.

Screaming in horror and running away, no doubt.
