It is obvious by now why were not planning on signing Tec. Hendricks would have been reliably ahead of him by the start of next year. Knowing that, I feel much better about the trade. Get some value out of nothing.

If Hendricks was playing this same way at the start of the season, all of us would've been ecstatic.

It’s almost like maybe… just maybe… we should have had just an ounce of patience and understanding. He lost summer league and that dev time to an injury and we expected the raw prospect to come in and immediately be awesome for some reason.

Right he needed a minute to get his feet wet. He was a step or two behind in part because no summer prep. It also just requires a little patience sometimes but I get that it’s more fun to declare victory when a guy struggles early.

Not yet, but it won't be long. And Hendricks will be a difference maker all over the floor on defense while Tec was solid in certain matchups.

Someone is going to pay Tec like a starter then start him. I'd imagine he will take that offer.
