Whiteside: 6 pts, 3/3
Mitchell: 2 pts, 1/5

Three of these four players were not in the game to close last night. (Not saying Whiteside should close, but I am saying the shot distribution in the clutch should be different).

Imagine if we could get post all star break Donovan, with pre all star break Mike, with post splint Bogey, and whatever this version of Clarkson is all playing that well at the same time. We'd score 200 points a game.

Honestly if we get last seasons clarkson and conley back then im right back to thinking we are championship contenders. I mean we made some moves around the bench but we are mostly the same team as last year. Mitchell is about the same player from last year (i think he is a little better this year), Gobert is having the best year of his career, Bogey is having the best year of his career, royce is royce.
If conley and clarkson get back to last years levels then I think we are a better team than last year. Ingles was quite good last year too though so that is a decent loss from last season but whiteside is much better than favors and I think players like Gay, paschall, and house should be more valuable in the playoffs than niang.

Last year this game would have been boring because up 16 in the 4th the game would be over. This year up 16 in the 4th is when you start to panic a little.
