What's new

I remember owning the largest property on the John Collins island when owning lots there was generally frowned upon. @Elizah Huge and @Saint Cy of JFC were also there IIRC.
I frowned on him bigger than those fools, and he was much worse before this year. There was a reason for that. The fact that he seems to have improved is great doesn’t change the fact that sigh and Elizah and Cy were right as well as me, but don’t go puffing yourself up because you sang his praises back then when he sucked. Lmao

What a lame attempt to twist a bad take around and try to downplay those who saw the vision.

No one praised his play last year but some saw potential in him that we could unlock and that playing with Trae in Atlantas system always limited his development

So stfu and eat your crow.

I'll eat a little bit of crow on Collins. I was hopeful he would be a good player, but I hated his contract and thought we should have got picks for taking it on.

We'll see what we do with his contract this summer, but I think it might have positive value now, especially as an expiring. Even if we just let it expire it hasn't hurt anything to have him on the team.

The biggest thing I missed on was the entertainment value. He has a couple of awesome plays per game that make it fun to watch the Jazz, and that has a ton of value. I think we sometimes get stuck on how a move will effect our eventual contending team, and I think we sometimes miss the boat when we can only think about that stuff. In the end this is an entertainment industry and Collins provides an immense amount of entertainment when he is allowed to play.

It's also worth mentioning that I think there is tremendous value to Collier and George to have play finishers as good as Collins and Lauri on the team.
