Allowing a 6,3 guard in Westbrook to grab 15 rebounds is disgrace

He's the best rebounding guard of all time, or at least top 3. That's what he does my guy. Jazz limited the Wiz to 7 offensive rebounds. You picking the wrong thing to complain about.

Oni needs to play more. He is a good wing defender and his shot looks pretty solid. He doesnt need to replace anyone but cut into a few peoples minutes. He especially needs to play when someone is killing us.

This loss alone isnt a big deal. Bogey and Clarkson were way off, it happens. But our team has been off for awhile. We need something to change and get them back in rhythm. This team got lazy blowing out teams. We have a target on our back and we arent responding well. I think this team thinks we can coast to the playoffs and then step it up.

Not having Conley also hurts. He has been a good defender this year and I think he is a huge difference maker. When he plays with Gobert we are plus 13.8, which is great. When Conley plays with Favors we are +18.2. He makes our big men better, more so than anyone by a decent amount.

It’s one thing to lose focus and have your guy slip in for an offensive rebound... it’s another to get straight blown by and not even fake movement or effort.

You don't blame Bogey defensively in general just like you don't blame Donovan on defense when he's been putting up 30 and 40pts for you. They simply aren't defensive pieces that help solve the puzzle. We need more defenders on this team period.

What I'm having issues with Bogey is his offense......

I understand not giving your all on defense or taking the best defensive matchup. You just can't give open lanes or switch without pressure. This isn't about saving energy for offense, it's the minimal requirement for winning basketball no matter how many points you have.

If Mitchell was Harden offensively, I can understand bringing in guys that are better defenders that can also shoot but he is nowhere near that level. We can't put all the offensive burden on Mitchell, that's not fair to him either.

This team has also played good defense against good teams. They just don't want to give effort right now. I believe we need one more perimeter defender but it's not that game-changing if 2-3 players give no effort.

It’s not just this game... it’s the effort and mental weakness the last month that are troubling.

Tomorrow is a tipping point imo... if this team rebounds and gives winning effort maybe they can take a punch and get up... then maybe they are a contender... if not then I’m done thinking this team could be the title team. Certainly a very good team but not gonna get my hopes up for a conference finals or finals appearance.

Remember when we drafted him and everyone said defense was one of his biggest strengths and he said winning defensive player of the year was one of his biggest goals?
