I agree. The War on Drugs is one of the most expensive and worthless wars that has ever been waged.Anyway, the War on Drugs is an abject failure, and thus a complete waste of money. It has served as a giant subsidy to organized crime, just as alcohol prohibition did in the 20s. It makes keeping cannabis and hard drugs out of the hands of youngsters more difficult, increases violent crime, and puts otherwise productive, tax-paying people behind bars. It's one of the reasons I'd rather be in Canada, even though the Harper government is trying to adopt US Drug War policies (they've already pushed through mandatory sentences for anyone growing 6+ cannabis plants).
**** the police.
Characteristically dismissive. How dare anyone have different values or opinions than you.
This wasn't written by some worthless welfare case. It's Carl ****ing Sagan. Did you even read it?

Not at all. There's a qualitative difference in our respective posts.Speaking of not being valuing anyone's opinion but your own, you epitomized that in your response. My response was my opinion. My opinion that his opinion is no greater than anyone elses and had no more substance or validity than anything else posted in this thread. You summarily dismissed it. If an opinion is not immediately recognizable as being hyperbollically pro-weed it is not worth considering. Hypocritical much?.
Why not?I just don't buy all the existential esoteric crap you try to convince yourself of.
