The thought that Kanter and Favors can't play together is a joke. They compliment each other VERY well. We just need a coach to put these guys in positions to succeed. Ty needs to watch film on combos like Noah-Boozer. Gasol-Bynum. Duncan-Robinson.
Sometimes you don't need to reinvent the wheel. Just like the Hayward point guard and Burke spot up shooter bs were seeing all season. Burke is a point guard. Hayward is a slightly above average Forward. He can't seem to figure that out.
You left out Malone and Ostertag, seriously, how can we take your post serious if it is lacking one of the greatest combos EVER?
But you know what boozer, Gasol, Duncan and Malone had in common....they all play in the high post and can pass. I'm not sure either Kanter or Favors can do those two things, at least not yet. Too bad the jazz don't have like a throw away season where the jazz could experiment with the two playing together and see if Kanter could develop a high post game without worrying about winning a bunch of games.
