Game Thread May 26, 2021 08:00PM MT: Jazz vs. Grizzlies - Game 2

Added to Calendar: 05-26-21

Can anyone tell me why our game is so late? Memphis is Central Time, Utah is Mountain time. The game before starts 5h30 MT, absolute no reason to have it started so late..

Same. Last game I went to before this was when we got smoked by LAL last year and LeBron danced on the court when he wasn't in the game.

My son also asked me if I'd been to a playoff game, and I thought back to the last time and it was when we were playing Sacramento waaaay back when. Vlade hit a damn three in the crunch.
I remember this stupid *** dance in his socked feet.

ey good luck in this game tonight im definitely way more objective than most observers but i gotta say i really dont wanna see Utah go down 0-2 n the aftermath of all that...

I'm nervous y'all.
My butt cheeks are already clinched... buckle up bitches this is what its all about.

If Don struggles early I will be in full sweat mode. I am being cornered off in my bedroom to watch this one as my wife is hosting Bunco. Hopefully none of those ladies are offended at the terrible things I yell at the refs and Grizzly players.

It's not, but it's also not a gimme to beat the Clippers. Or the Grizzlies.
No gimmes in the western conference... none. I'm kinda shocked the Clips were so worried about the Lakers that they tanked into a matchup with a team that took them to 7 last year and has a budding megastar.

It can happen, for sure. But that Denver series was in a bubble, and therefore, all the games were screwed up with zero home court advantage for any team.

That Utah series with OKC, though, the Jazz won home court with that win and basically held serve throughout the rest of the series (won two games in SLC, lost game five in OKC and then closed the series out in six at the Viv).

For Utah to win three straight against Memphis, it'll require them to not only win once in Memphis - but twice.

Doubt.
Another difference between that OKC series and this one is that the gap between the 2021 Jazz and 2021 Grizzlies is a hell of a lot larger than the gap between the 2018 Jazz and 2018 Thunder.
