If we lose, we will be within two games of Orlando for the #3 slot in the lottery. Big night. I thought I saw Favors and Burke earlier and they didn't look too well if you know what I mean.
 
Green put the team names and game time in the op this is as much of game thread as any of the recent ones.

The magic have not won a road game against a western conference team. They have lost 7 in a row now. They have lost 6 in a row to the jazz (though they were close games).

So if you can't stand a win don't watch!
 
I have wiggins fever and the only thing that can cure it is a jazz loss!


This game is HUGE! Anyone know if any magic or jazz players will be missing tonights game?
 
I don't see how the Jazz can crack into the top 3 worst records the other teams just lose too much, even if they lost that is what 2 games? So that would still mean ORL would have to win 3 more games the rest of the year and the Jazz couldn't win a single game and even if there is a tie somehow it is decided by a coin flip and the Jazz haven't had good luck in those if my memory serves.

Maybe it is the "Magic" curse, since back in what was it 79-80 the Jazz won the coin flip to get Magic but had already traded away the rights to that pick to LA.

I agree.

the hardest part about tanking is rooting for the other tankers to win each night and being disappointed because the other tankers suck and therefore rarely win.

Alec Burks (sprained left ankle) is doubtful for tonight's game vs. Orlando.
 
Also don't forget they are honoring the 83-84 team, so Frank Layden and members of the team will be there tonight. I would be going if I wasn't on call this week, meaning I am having to work.
 
Yes, the jazz are honoring the first jazz playoff team tonight at 7:00 pm when the Utah Jazz host the Orlando Magic at the ESA.

Now it's a game thread, someone please sticky it.
 
Man, all these game threads lately are depressing, i.e.:

"Jazz play tonight. Let's hope they lose!"

No pics, wit, or real commentary. SMH
