To be honest, Gasol/Kaman/Farmer knows Euroball better than Kanter and Gobert. But yeah, at least our euro players are young and Messina loves young good players.Maybe Messina will like that we have more foreign talent???
But Kobe can and probably will help the Lakers FO to convince Messina.Kobe has played over 1400 nba games, over 50,000 minutes. He has an injured knee and a repaired Achilles. He will turn 36 in August. He is done.
Messina might sign in la for the Rock n Roll lifestyle and the weather, and the women, the beach, the parties, the glamour, and the celebrities, but not for Kobe.
Looks quite boring at first tbh, but those are in fact very valuable things. Plus, hopefully we'll end up with the better draft pick than Lakers. The only case we can make for him is the fact that:
a) there won't be nearly as much pressure his shoulders, particularly from fans & media
b) his job security would be significantly higher here in Utah (just think of how many coaches LA has gone through since 2011/2012
c) we have a decent amount of assets, a well-run front office, and are trending in the right way.
Maybe I'm stretching things.
Messina has nit even been offered... lol.

That doesn't sound very nice. This is the first post about Messina I've seen from you(I might have missed though if you had any) and it sounds like you're glad about it.
-No offense intended-

I've actually said nothing about Messina. I have no opinion.
Mostly good stuff I've heard but not enough to be passionate in the decision.
