It's a long road to recovery brother. Take your time but commit to strengthening your core over time.

I'm like the only person I know that hurts when they smoke weed. It makes my muscles ache and spasm.

I don't care to smoke it ever again.

**** just saw your initial response. Any better today? Also, how the hell did they scratch your eye during a lower spinal surgery?

Not good. Today has been rough. I can't move without spasming the nerve in my left butt cheek. It hits like electricity and sharp pain. I called my doc office and they prescribed some steroids.

As far as my eye, I think this is what happened.

I'm 12 days out of surgery and I got to say, it's been a walk in the park other than the first few days - they were absolute hell.

I tried to return to work today, but they didn't accept my return to work doctor's note. They want it more detailed. Super frustrating.

When I had hip surgery last year they didn't need anything. I just took PTO. This time, I used PTO, but they required me to file for a leave of absence/short term disability, which if you ask me, is a joke. I think it pays like 50% or 60% of your wages as if your Bill's, house payment, etc don't stay the same price.

Hopefully they accept the doc's note I plan on getting tomorrow when I get the stitches out.

Good luck, man. Yeah that 60% (that's what it is where I work) doesn't cut it.
