Millsap and Hayward to Cavs?

I'd much rather draft Knight or Walker at 3, Then trade Millsap for Petruis, Lopez the 13, then use the 12th and 13th pick on Singleton, Hamilton

Am I the only one that likes that trade?
Also Cleveland would never offer that in a million years. Hayward and Millsap are nice players but not enough to land you the 1 & 4 pick.

That **** aint happening but who would you take? I'd go Irving #1, Williams #2 and if Kanter falls to 4 grab him but I bet he would get taken at 3. At that point, it wouldn't make sense to take Knight at 4 if you draft Irving so I have no idea who to take there

Or you would take Williams and Kanter first and second and either Irving or Knight at 4 (whoever is left).

Where is Hayward mentioned? If Hayward is included, forget it, as far as I'm concerned.

Let's keep our hopes up. Look at Zach Randolph. He has been a career loser despite being a monster in the paint his whole career. Things will turn around for us and Al.

The exception proves the rule. And Randolph's problem wasn't that he was a complete dullard, it was that he was selfish and made a decision to be less-so. When Al can CHOOSE to be smart, then maybe what you say holds water.

And FWIW, Randolph never got traded to a winning team, then that team subsequently go through it's most disastrous season in its history.

Okur/Raja/GS Pick for #2 this year?

That just can't be, but if for whatever reason that part of it can be true I'd say just work this deal with Minny and forget about the Cavs one. I'd say take Williams/Knight with the 2/3 and here's our new line-up:

Knight/Harris (maybe switched for a year or 2 until Knight is ready to go)
Hayward/CJ
Williams/Evans
Al Jeff/Millsap
Favors/Fes (or whatever backup)

I'd be pleased with this.

I continue to be perplexed by the love that Brandon Knight gets on here. I don't hate him - just wouldn't touch him with a top 5 pick.

If Jazz had picks 2 and 3 I'd take Williams and Kanter.

Agree Bentley. I've made it widely known that I love Brandon but I wouldn't take him top 5. 7-10, sure.
I would actually do the Cavs trade if we could end up with Kyrie and Kanter (not popular on here, I know) and would be breaking my hand getting my pen out of my pocket to sign the deal.

As for the above, I agree, Williams and Kanter.

Change Millsap to Jefferson and you've got my attention.

Why do you hate Big Al? 19,10 and 2 block guys don't grow on trees. He is in his prime and a top PF/C in this league. Remember, he put up these #'s while dealing with his best teammate(Deron) being traded along with a new coach midway through the year. It was his first year in the system and IIRC Boozer didn't do great his first year in the system, yet Big Al still put up great #'s. Most importantly, he is very durable and played through injuries last year. Get Big Al a couple shooters on this team and he will be even better

Who is on your board above Knight. I like Knight but not in love with him but can't think of anyone I'd draft at 4 or 5 in front of him

If you have to ask, you've probably been ignoring what I and a significant contingent of this site have been saying. Or you can't comprehend it.

P.S. Thanks for the (anonymous at the time) neg rep for my having merely a different opinion on the matter than you.
