Well as far as Odom goes, even if the Jazz and Clips could do Sap/Bledsoe straight up, with Sap joining the Clip makes Odom obsolete. As of now Odom only plays 20 minutes scoring under 4 points per. There just isn't room for Odom in LA if the Clips get Millsap.

Don't think the Clips would have a problem giving away Odom in this scenario.

The best part of this trade is Corbin would get a vet back and Odom could be our starting pf. We don't want to rush our young players. And Bledsoe could sit behind Tinsley/Watson and learn a few things.
 
Not to burst the bubble of everyone here but how many trades that are announced in public before they happen, do the Jazz actually follow through with?

Odom probably wouldn't even report - Jazz should just give him his outright release immediately after the trade.

At this point his TV show is more important to him that basketball.

Sounds accurate.
 
They might actually do Odom (33, in last year, and day-to-day with an injury) + Bledsoe for Millsap + Watson. Doubt they part with Butler... I wouldn't even mind it we could con them into taking Raja Bell and giving us Grant Hill...

They want to upgrade their SF situation, not completely get rid of it.
